Two months or so I asked for prayers for my Navajo friend LaVern who was having surgeries and just doing very poorly. I sent her a copy of your replies. Today I got a note from her which said:

What an encouraging list of people who are praying for me. I am very grateful. I was crying - so many people care - and thoughout the country too! I felt like a mass of extra weight lift off me - I am not alone. Please thank everyone who has lifted me up in prayers to God. I love you for what you're done for me.

I love you too, Farmgirl Sisters, for what you've done for LaVerne.

give your friend a great big hug from us Patricia.
Don't you just love the farmgirl spirit..a true sense of caring for one's fellow beings in life..spreading the care and love to complete strangers around the country. That's what it's about. There can never be too much care, concern and love for others in this world.Pay it forward..and keep it going...that's what it's about.

So true, Tina! Wouldn't it be great if we were able someday to spread it around the world? That's what the Challenge is all about. If everyone acted like a Farmgirl (boy) there would be true peace on earth.

Farmgirl spirit is beginning to seriously blow me away, when I read things like what is above. It has gone from nice, to great, to powerful, and who knows what can happen from here? Oh my......how wonderful that your friend has received so much strength from the farmgirls!
