awesome! i am facinated with basket making. i made one last spring from grape vines and wild cherry saplings...very primitive, but it was SOOO heavy! i made it for use in the garden, but my arm would have fallen off if i'd started putting anything in it.

Wow how cool. I love baskets. I have quite a few. Maybe I should learn how to make them, but then again right now I have too much to do maybe when the kids all grow up and move out???? LOL Thanks for sharing!!!

Great job on your basket Joy! One of my best friends makes baskets in her free time. I just talked with her and they were having a Nantucket basket making workshop at our Ag Resource building here.
