I bookmarked this link some months ago, and I guess, never went back to it, but it's pretty great. It's from the Kentucky Artisan Heritage Trails Group, and basically, they've divided up the state (and it's artisans and historic points) in "drives" so that while out an about, you can locate crafters and points of interest along the way.
Pretty darn cool, I think!!!

Oh Thank you for posting that up!! I hadn't seen that before. Yep - that is going on my bookmarks!!
Looks like they have a "Cave City Trail" too...gosh it runs right by Wilma's house!!
Up in Louisville at the Galt House, their "Berea Shop" is going out of business. Everything was 50% off when we were there. I don't know why they are leaving the Galt House. Hmm. I do have some of the historic Churchill Downs quilts before it went out of business. Which reminds me, I'm itching for a trip to Berea to visit buddies and go antiquing. :)

gurlz .. the cave city tour comes right through my HOME TOWN of GREENSBURG .. stopping at the Plaid Peacock and our historic Courthouse! (those two places .. along with Cobblestone Farms) will be on our Cabin Fever agenda .. along with BARDSTOWN and Behind Thyme in Campbellsville. Be sure to see a PLAY at the Kentucky Repertory Theatre in Horse Cave, KY too! and of course, if you gurlz are heading down this trail .. let me know . .and if i'm home .. stop by for some tea and my specialty 'burnt cookies'!
and BEREA is ALWAYS fun .. i go there a LOT! have a bookstore there that i love .. and SOMETHING OLDE is my fav antiques store in BEREA!
i'm going to the KENTUCKY CRAFTED 'buyer's show' in 'march too i think .. have to look at the card.

Oh I see that they have a lot of the barn quilt squares listed as well. Looks like I'll be getting out my camera and taking a drive sometime soon on a sunny day to take some more photographs of them. :) I have one posted so far on my blog.
Looks like I'll be planning lots of tours soon with this map the more I look into more places. In the Millstone map, you can see a little piece of McHargue's Mill which is located at Levi Jackson State Park in my hometown. The Jackson family are ancestors of mine and were some influential people back in the day. They donated the land to the state and it has been used quite well. I'll try to find one of my photographs of the old millstones in front of the mill and post it to my blog later today.
