Found the perfect place for the little doll quilt I got from Miss Wilma. I had it in several places and this is where I like it best.
Off to the grocery store, looks like bad weather heading this way and so better stock up on a few things. The weather isn't suppose to get bad until tomorrow night, but I can't be grocery shopping tomorrow because its going to be thrift day I hope. Friday I won't be going anyplace, just staying here and being good. Well staying here.

That's the perfect place for it, Nancy Jo. And that's a good idea putting those books on the chair, too. I'll have to remember that. Of course you need to grocery shop today so you can thrift tomorrow, before the weather breaks down! It's good that you have your priorities in order. ;)

What a charming little corner, Nancy Jo! That little quilt just sets it off. Everything looks so pretty ...

I remember taking photos of that quilt the last time I was at Wilma's. In fact, the very first thing I learned to sew was a doll quilt. I still have my quilt. Wilma was the one who taught me how to sew and now I'm itching to start another thing now that I have some free time.

Jessica,
Well I do believe Miss Wilma has enough material now that you could sew a cover for a house and a barn. Did you see her big find? I need to be there to help her sort things out, or a least I sure would like to be. Maybe you could go in my place.
You sure got your sewing lessons from the best. Lucky you. Maybe you could come visit and teach me a thing or two.

Let's see, Nancy Jo, Miss Wilma, and I would like to presume to include myself......all in the same room playing house and loving the old things....and maybe even lucky enough to have MaryJane there, too.....now I will dream about that tonight. And it will be a good dream.

Nancy I'll try to get a photo of that quilt tonight and post it up on my blog. I have a lot of quilts that my great grandma and my grandma made for me over the years. I wouldn't trade anything for them. Wilma showed me about making pillows and pillow cases. I swear I had to have made a million of "doll" pillows (small ones) for entire Cabbage patch. haha. I really need to add some stuff on my blog. I had to be out of town this weekend and I'm playing catchup.
