Some of you might remember me telling you about the horrible accident my husband, Doug, was in on December 14th. He sustained non-life threatening injuries and was very lucky to walk away from the accident.
He met with the insurance adjuster today and they negotiated a small settlement for "Pain and suffering". Yay! I was hoping Doug would get more as he is still a long way from recovered 100%, but anything is better than nothing.
Doug's computer died way back in October so he is currently at the computer shop buying new parts for it, then we are going to re-new our membership to CostCo and we both are going to get a few new outfits since our clothes are starting to look a bit shabby.
So overall- not too bad for "free" money. But I hardly recommend the way he got it!
Well, at least you got something positive out of it. I always try to find the good in a situation and I'm glad for you that you got a bit of recompense for the pain and troubles. Where does Doug work? My Andrew is a computer wizard and all, so I was wondering. VGH is pretty good for parts and such, they've been good to me so far
