I found my book The Herbal Home Spa by Greta Breedlove. It has two dandruff treatments in it. One is a rinse that uses:

1 cup ACV
1Cup water
2Tbls fresh Lemongrass
2Tbls Fresh Nettle
2Tbls fresh Peppermint

In saucepan bring AVC and water (H2O) to a boil
Place herbs in wide mouth jar
Pour boiling AVC and H2O over herbs
Seep for 1 week shaking daily
Strain out herbs and decant liquid

Dilute 1/4 cup herbal mix with 1 cup water
After shampooing and rinsing hair throughly, rinse with diluted vinegar and herbs
Let sit on hair for 1 minute
rinse with cool water
Pat hair dry

The other is an oil treatment:

1/2 Cup Grapeseed oil
2Tbls Cornmeal
1Tbls ACV
1 Plastic bag to fit over you hair

Pour Grapeseed oil into a bowl add cornmeal and ACV
Stir to make a paste

Rinse hair with warm water
Mix a Tbls of oil mixture in palm of hands
Using finger tips in circular motion gently massage the mixture in the scalp
Repeat until entire scalp has been massaged
Place plastic bag over hair and secure and allow the the mixture to sit for 1/2 hour
Rinse well then shampoo as normal

I have never used these but have used other recipes in the book and have like them. The book is great.
