I am clearing out stuff !!  I have 8 original vintage black and white postcards up for barter in this group. Value is 10.00 They are in fair shape -there are dirt smudges on backs of them .Photos are in farir shape. -not sure just how old they are --on the back of one shows the place to put a 1 cent or 2 cent stamp. None have been stamped or sent thru mail . They would be nice addition to your vinateg archive. NO copyright on 7 of them. ! does have the photographers name.  Sorry the pics arent bigger to show details better. I had to scan them .THere are 3 people posing by what looks like cactus ---a mule team pulling a wagon in a parade--2 men sitting on an old motorcycle with woman beside them---2 men sitting on machinery of some sort --man sitting in a ??crane ?? maybe an old building with fancy exterior--man --captain ? on deck on ship old railroad depot in seattle

HI ronna --sent ya email about the motorcycle post card. AOl never likes my emails so better let ya know here also :) If you dont want the whole set --I can always let you have just it and then make a photo of it and put back the photo in the collection. Not sure what to charge for just one card --so will have to leave that up to you :) I believe these are the postcards from that time period --that ones personal pics where devolped and printed out on the postcard --not photopaper. In the box of all these when i bought it are several just photos laying in with blank postcards. Would explain why you dont find copyrights and signatures on 99 % of them from that era also.

I collect old photo postcards and am interested in any that have not as yet been psoken for! The look interesting! I am going to look for things to barter today and post here again. I cannot email from this site on my computer.
If I do not have anything you may want in barter, I will pay the 10.00 for them.

Will let ya know soon as i hear back from Ronna about if she just wants the motorcyle one or whole set . I just put few more sets up this morning too. If she just wants the motorcycle --i can put in in as a copy on photo paper .

I want the real cards themselves. I never cut them or use in projects. I collect the old photo cards. Whatever Ronna takes, perhaps you could replace it with another one you have on another post, like the log cabin, the one of the lamp shop, the upside down one of what looks like a railroad photo of some kind. Anyway, you get the picture, no pun intended.
For bater I remember I have this:
2 vintage illustrations, in great condition, taken from an old fairy tale book. The art looks as if it from the 1910-1920 era. Very beautifully colored. They are about 6x8", and I paid $5 for each several years ago.
If they are already spoken for, that is okay - don't worry!

Sent ya an email :) I love just the old cards too . I gotta clean out mine this winter though. I never throw a pic away i think. Alot will end up on etsy as collage making sets probaly. I better keep the sets together or i will get confused . :) I do have some of a train and then one of train station I havent put in a set yet that i could replace it with. Before i forget -- i havent had caffeine yet --SOOO --ok-no laughing bonne ! . OK --so i dont function w/o caffeine . My barter page of items i look for is at www.bartertribalwitch.blogspot.com

Okay, got the private email from Lisa, so we can go from there now. Motorcycle, railroads...both are of interest to me. Whatever you ladies come up with will be fine. I don't need any of them...but would like them. Just to keep, not for cutting up or using otherwise. Going back to my stepdad having an Indian and a Harley in the 30's to dirt bike with my ex and my son and now Harley again with my husband, bikes have been a big part of my life. Both my dad and FIL were railroad engineers, so trains are important too. Silly, I saw the bike photo and really didn't look at the others...
I'll be happy with whatever I can buy or barter, whichever works better for you.
