Hey y'all....Happy Birthday
I have the same bday as Imillward....the 15th. I'll be 40. I'm not quite sure how to feel about it. In my head I'm still 25 but my body says different.

Cheryl! I got your package today! I was so excited. You wouldnt think a woman in her 40's would be so giddy. I am the oldest of 10 and my family was POOR so b-days were never celebrated. You made my day!
Catherine- I'm happy to commemorate the date I made my world premier on the same day as you! I know what you mean about not feeling your age, though. Sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder when THAT happened!

I'm 40! My girls have been challenging me to say that all week. I've made them think I just can't bring myself to say it. You're all witnesses....I've said it.
Last night I was a bit sad thinking about all the heartache and loved ones I've lost....my sister, several aunts and uncles, cousins, my grandparents, and a couple of friends. I often wonder what it would be like if my sister were still alive and what our relationship would be like. Although I was 14 when she died and that was 26 years ago, it still feels like yesterday sometimes.
This morning I woke up with a much better attitude. 40! WOW! I've been truly Blessed. I'll celebrate my accomplishments, relationships, hobbies, and all the things that make me unique. I'll sip coffee with my Mom this morning and tell her how wonderful she is. I'll look forward to my dinner date with my husband later. I'll spend the day horse riding and fishing with my girls. Thanking God the whole time.

That sounds like a great day Catherine! Enjoy every minute of it! I think we have all been truly blessed. I know that I am so happy that I found this site and all of the wonderful, beautiful women on here! It has been so fun and I'm hoping to have even more fun with you all!
