Okay Nancy I finally got some pictures on my blog, In Megs room I was worried afraid she wouldnt like it she went in looked around cameback out and said Miss Wilma this is better than the Biltmore, NOW YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT SWEET LITTLE THING WON MY HEART. See anything you like let me know. My girls were making mud pies yesterday, Brooke is 12 now but she has always loved to be out under the trees, and I had rather see her making mud pies than trying to be a 20 year old,My daughter is doing a fablouse job of raising the girls, Happy looking and a Happy New Year to all Miss WILMA

Miss Wilma, what a beautiful shop. I would love to visit it! I saw a lot of things that more than caught my eye. Also, the room is decorated so nicely, I love the red and white. Thank you for sharing.

Miss Wilma, Summer Shade...that is over close to a little place called 88? Or I may be wrong? I have drove that road many many times but not much in the last 2 yrs. I took my dog to the groomer in BG for 3 yrs. Yep, believe it or not drove 2 hrs one way. But also loved having that day for an outing every 6 wks! My jobs changed and I couldnt get off a day every 6 weeks. :(. I always went 90, passed Albany, through Burkesville, Marrowbone, and into Glasgow. I am sure I passed Summer Shade. My husband also use to truck pull about 20 yrs ago and knew some guys that pulled from over Summer Shade. What are the hours that you are in the shop?

I saw lots of things I liked! Like: the little 2gal(?) crock under that little table, and the drying rack leaning against the door facing only naming a few!

Miss Wilma- How could Megan and Lucas stay away with quarters like that!!!! I wish I could pop over to see it all myself;) I would like to order some ticking from you and a little bird when you have a chance. What do you have in the way of reds, does ticking ever come in cream and white?
Thanks, Rebekka

Rebecca thank you and you are welcome any time, I have something to tell you about that house , I once had a booming buiness in pillows, I went to Texas twice a year with loads of them, Feather beds were abundant and I was aquiring loads of german ticking So with the money I made I built and paid for that house in 3 years with feathers ha, My feather beds have run out almost and can no longer get the ticking that I can afford, I only do a couple of stores in CA and one in Denver now and for Mary Jane, I guess it s just as well because I ended up with a lot of problems from so much lifting,Sometimes I bought so much ticking it would scare me to death until I got it all sewed up and sold. Any way I will get out to the sewing house tomorrow and see what I have How much do you want? I owe you a favor any way If you ever get to KY the door is open and lodging is free thanks Miss Wilma

Hi Miss Wilma,
Just took a nice long look at your site and I must say its a winner. How nice that you have special rooms for the MJ clan. They must love coming there. I know I would.
What are you up to today? Are you getting caught up from the holidays and did you get the mud pies cleaned up? I used to love making those, and mixing up flour and water. I was a very messy child.
Well going back to look at your shop again, thanks for showing the pictures.

miss wilma,
i love the blog, and wish i could come and see everything in person.
i can imagine that you had a wonderful booth at zap hall. do you plan to ever come back to roundtop/warrenton?
i love all the pictures, but i really love the bedroom with the red and white quilts, on the wall and on the bed.
i wish you could come here to my farm and help me decorate my little farm houses.
thanks so much for sharing with us, you brought some much needed warmth to this chilly morning.
