Hi Bev, glad that all is OK. That is too bad that you won't be sewing for awhile w/ your wrist, but hey curling up with a good read is a good plan!

Bev, I hope your carpal tunnel surgery went well. I had it done in October. It wasn't too bad. I was able to sew a lot quicker than I thought. At least on a machine. It's basically the squeezing that hurts the most, so as long as you avoid that, plus heavy lifting, you should be able to find things to do. I would have gone crazy if I couldn't do anything! My palms as still a little sore, but not too bad. My doctor said it would take 8-10 months to feel completely better. I'm very glad I got it done though, I couldn't sleep with the carpal tunnel, my wrists and forearms hurt so bad.

Bev, I'm so glad to hear about your mom, that is good news. My sweetie had a pressure fracture to his spine (no more skiing) and spines are fussy things. I was worried for her. And you take care of that hand and heal up. May you have lots and lots of wonderful ideas and hopefully get some quality time in with a few good books. Swift healing to you both.

Hugs to ya!

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart

Bev-I am glaad for you and your mother. Just look at this time to plan and organize. When you able to go back and start you wil have a planned projects and will be on top with all thast organization. Also this is the time to treat yourself: buuble baths and meltdown, chocolate and that book you been wanting to read, shopping for those projects: the patterns and fabric, emblishments. Treat yourself with bouquet of flowers. Don't forget MOM, treat her with a small box of chocolates or cookies. Also you could make a Honey-do list. It could be mentally, you don't have to write it down. Well, you have a good retreat, and fun.
