Hey all. I am an herbalist/wildcrafter in Western Washington. I teach herbal medicine and have a 100% natural herbal health and body care business that is in transition. I have been doing farmers markets and street fairs for years and wish to move over to the wholesale side of things. Since I am a wildcrafter, most of the herbs I gather are from the wild. In a former life, I had a 74 acre farm with navajo-churro sheep, goats, ducks, geese, american wild turkeys, rabbits and a llama. 5 herb gardens and a huge veg garden. Now I live on 1/2 acre that I moved to in the fall. I am going to start preparing my garden space next month....ah to dig in the dirt again! I look forward to meeting you all, enjoying your company, pass on some knowledge and learn from you!

Hey! I know you! What a riot! You know, my Mom always said, "Be nice to everyone, because you never know who they know." I think she meant everything would get back to her....and it did! I'm glad to know there are good people here. I love to chat and learn and share and I love forums where people are nice to each other.
As far as the Arthritis Cream is concerned...I harvest the plants myself with the help of my apprentices. This year's batch started with us up in the mountains harvesting the Sitka Valerian root and Hellebore root and the Willow bark. I forgot to bring shovels, so we dug bare handed. I loved that and so did my students. We also harvested on the east side of the mountains (2 species of arnica...one on Blewett Pass, one near Baker Lake) and on this side as well. What it does is deadens the area where it is applied. Not an 'icy/hot' thing, but a true pain relief. I have had many repeat customers who say that this is the only product that helps them and they don't want to do pharmaceuticals. So, that's the arthritis cream.

Hi Suzanne. You sound wonderful. I would love to get my hands dirty too, but sadly, that is relegated to the back of a city lot. Ahh, maybe one day you could bring proper herbal knowledge to the city folk

| Hi Suzanne. What a great thing you do! I am very opposed to the harmful chemicals we are sold as medicine. My daughter at 30 was given no chance of making it to 40 by doctors, her health was worse by the day to where she had to use canes to walk, then someone told her about a herbalist who specialized in leukemia. As you can guess, she went into remission, most of her many health issues disappear and she feel very healthy. Unfortunately, her herbalist was driven out of her practice because of doctors complaining that she was practicing medicine. Good luck to you. |
