I still have the waistband/ties to attach.......if I procrastinate , I could be scrambling to make the deadline!! LOL
So near, yet so far! "almost done" still means it's not done yet.

Oh guess I'm going to be slow and steady. I have mine cut out but this is the first time I've made them and I only get snatches of a few minutes anymore so I have only finished three. Three can you believe that? Hoping to get more done tomorrow. Btw, I screwed up apron #3 so I have to do that one over again.
I don't know how you girls get them done so quickly. I suppose I could once I get the hang of it and have a good chunk of time to work on them. I'll have to put up a do not disturb sign or something I think.

I have finally caught up on the mini thread. Good heavens I hadn't realized how short a time and how far behind you can get on reading!!!!!!!
Haven't even started my minis!!!!!!! But my honey dh put in another shelf which is my sewin table at a lower height. Helps with the pain levels so I can sew. I am so excited. But this means I have to move everything around now. DArn it, can't I just wiggle my nose......PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE
Oh well, we are to have lots more snow in the next few days, perfect time to finish up and then get to sewing.

Had doc appt today, slowly getting a bit of a handle on how to deal with pain levels. Yippeee.... not perfect but a little progress is encouraging to this girl. Saw different doc cuase crazy busy in there today and his sil has Fibro so he has first hand experience with all that goes on. Told me I was on the right track, keep going and exercise. Gee that may have to become my mantra....nuts....does sewing count!!!!!!!!

The magic number 23 was meant to be. When finishing up number 23, I had about 8 inches of yarn left! (I had vowed to only use supplies I had one hand so someone would have gotten an odd duck if I had run out and had to use another color!) Now to embellish!

Hey Nay....adorable donkey!!

Bonne...you go girl!!!

Kathie....there ought to be a law.....are they allowed to make you do all this work???? Seems unconstitutional or something!! Who should I write a letter to??? Something has to be done....you are unable to enjoy the pursuit of happiness....sewing, that is...it is criminal!!!!!

btw, since these are the first ones I have done and I don't want to mess up, is it 5"wide by 3" long or the other way around?
thanks. I have some done but I figure if they are wrong I will just keep them. Don't know what made me think of this but there it is.

I think for it to be in proportion....it should be 3in wide gathered, and 5in long......
with long ties so they can all be tied together...I'd share a pic..but I don't have any on my computer..but measuring mine, which were the same general size as the others...the hemmed skirt is 4in the gathered top is almost 3 and the ties are 4in on either side...that is just the general size...and can be larger/smaller...

Denise, every one of mine looks a bit different as far as size. I was all bent out of shape doing my first minis (Halloween), trying to make them just the same, but this time, I said, "pfffsstt!!! I'm going to have fun with it" Size is just approximate~it really won't matter if they're bigger than your palm or smaller, that's just a guideline. Cut loose and enjoy the little boogers.
I can't wait to do the Western themed ones!!!! I think I'm going to have to sign up twice so I can keep one garland and give one away.

Yep.. really.. the guide lines are just to keep them in an aproximate size.. but however you do them.. will make them perfectly, uniquely yours!
So.. Create away Girls!..

I have the main pieces cut out a few nites ago.. now I seem to be at a stand still.. i need time to be able to get to my machine now.. This is just one project i can't manage to slip into work with me dang it!

I want to get to work on them now too!!! Crud~~
Dumb job!!!
Truly.. Is this 'REQUIRED'..'MANDATORY'.. overtime really allowed??
I'm sure they have it all checked out as well as anyone could and are well with in any laws.. but it's aggrevating as heck!
I HATE being made to do anything!!!!
If i WANT to work overtime I will .. i just don't want someone MAKING me.. OR telling me what Hours i will be either! ARRRGGHH!!!

Kathie,
I have definitely heard of mandatory overtime. My husband did it for years and we hated it. we always knew the shifts it could be but it was usually on a whoever has the least amount of overtime has to take it thing. sometimes that wasn't so bad. Thanks for the info on the minis.
Now I gotta get back to sewing on them. Sort of ran out of time this morning. Haven't gotten back to it yet.

I finished my 23! Due to some very deep delving into my odds-and-ends scrap basket, no 2 are alike. Now I have to start on cards for the Valentine's swap.....
