I have a friend that I have known for a while....Ann Marie.. Ann has been gifted with a wonderful talent of storytelling. Her stories will mesmerize and amaze folks of all ages. Ann was recently hired by the Dallas Museum of Art to be their "resident storyteller"!! I tell you..they recognize talent when they see it. I was fortunate to be friends with Ann when she resided here in North Florida. We were both part of a local homeschooling group, and Ann and I were always offering fun events for the kids to participate in. Ann would always have the kids involved in either creative writing events or in helping the children to find their own "voices" through storytelling. oh tina .. i do plan to visit this site when i get back home (honey hunk is call me to come get in the car!) i love storytelling .. i actually went to a wonderful week-long folk art camp a few years back and took 'storytelling for children' .. t'was grande fun .. i especially love the stories of 'older folk' .. and am mesmerized with the stories of older kentuckians! (we're going to start a program at the olde courthouse where we'll meet with green county, kentuckians to record their stories.) xo
