Jenny B Harris is a very talented lady I've enjoyed looking through her blog. I love the painting of Birgitta the Swedish saint she did many years ago.
Thanks for sharing that link.

They are very tiny...I would say the pattern is about a size 7 or larger in childrens. I made them for my daughter ( one year old) and she wears a four so im guesstimating they are about three or four sizes too big for her. I'm going to have to "down-size" my pattern : ) Thanls for checking out my little craft!!!

such an easy pattern to upsize for REAL wool shoes for older kids and the size they are...but I think the tutorial is for decor shoes...like for St. Nick Day.... I saw those when she did them on allsorts and was IN LOVE!

i did these same shoes in my advent calendar but I made them real small yes those are mother of pearl shirt buttons on the yoyos as comparison shirt buttons
The squares are 1 inch by 1 inch so that shows just how small these are

Rebekah, I made a pair last night in green felt w/white floss trim. I plan to fill them with red & green M&M's. I plan to buy a very large bag of M&M's and eat all the colors except the green & red ones which I will put in the little Elf Bootie, I know it's a tuff job, but hey someone has to eat through the M&M's to get to the red & green ones... LOL!

yep I know I can,,,but I like having an excuse to indulge my chocolate addiction!!! lol! besides, if I bought the red/green/white I'd have to color coordinate the M&M's to the elf booties which would lead me to eating the color I am not using....ok, so I will use anything as an excuse to O.D. on M&M's... M&M's & Pepsi, I think they are the 6th food group!!! hugz >^..^< Happiness is being a katmom. mjf#72 Sisters on the Fly#472 www.katmom4.blogspot.com |

Really! what fun would it be to buy a package of pre color sorted M&Ms when you can just eat them...I must not be the only chocoholic in the group huh? It's so cool to see everyone elses elf shoes, they are all so different and creative! Sunshine...great idea to pin the felt to prevent stretching...i guess it's common sense but I have a one year old crawling on me while I sew, so the simplest things slip my mind when I'm just trying to FINISH a project... I ran across a sewing blog that is very appropriate for the moms with little ones at home, it's called "while she naps", I think that is the only way some of us can get ANYTHING done Merry CHristmas to everyone!!
