I have a pair of cloth dolls that my mother made probably more than 60 years ago. I keep them on a little bench in my bathroom. I talk to them while I am sitting. ha. I posted pictures of them a while back. To get to my tragic tale you will have to go to my day4plus blog. Too terrible to picture here. It wasn't the butler---the dog did it. MB

You're speechless, me too! But at least we retain our heads and mouths, unlike the doll who met with a tragic demise..... Hope the pooch at least hung his head.... Hugs, Nance

ohhh my dog ate the face off the teddy bear my mom gave me when I came home from the hospital about three months ago. I cried for two days! I feel your pain.

So sorry. That really is just heartwrenching. No doggie treats for at least a week!

Isn't it strange how they can not bother something for ages and then all of a sudden decide it's time to chew it up. So sad, being your mother's handwork. I am so sorry for you, not one bit fair.

Oh Marybeth, so sorry to hear and see the tragic tale. Darn dog, is right! I wonder what possessed him all of a sudden?

That's sure a sad 'dog tail'. Is Bingo in the doghouse now? Wasn't a guard dog responsible for destroying one of Elvis Presley's teddy bears in a museum??? I seem to remember that from a while back.

OH! what a sad thing to happen. I hope you plan to make or have someone make you a new dolly to keep ya company in there.

I like the idea...think I'll put a couple of my dolls in mine with their bed and cradle. They get bored and lonely sitting in my bedroom all day.

sooo sad what happened at your house awwww
