It was a nice little get away. We had not done so in about 3 yrs. A much needed little break.

I was probably doing some research on a painting we picked up at an antique shop in Bainbridge..the shop owner didn't have any info on the painting..only that she had bought it from a lady in Atlanta. If it is what we are thinking..it may wind up that our little over $100 purchase could very well be art from an artist that resides in Monaco and valued at about $4,000 to $8,000 . My husband contacted the artist to check it out. If so, this is the type of painting that is bought up by European royalty and so forth.
but..not counting our chickens before they hatch though.:0)

Wouldn't that be great, though. Sometimes the fun is the chase--of course currency always helps. MB

the artist is Thierry Poncelet ...at least it looks very much like we have found one of his paintings...we'll see though.
