I see alot of stuff geared towards little girls (SO I get my fix) but I would like some ideas for my DS who is going to be 2 in March. Stuffed items, games, clothing, etc...
Please help as I cannot seem to find things in the stores geared for little boys.
Thanks.

When my son was that age he loved the book Scuffy the Tugboat so I made him a stuffed Scuffy the Tugboat. He loved it. He loved Scuffy the Tugboat so much he has him tattooed in brillant color on his leg!! Kids JoAnn |

Heather- Little knit animals, a set of bean bags with a bit of lavender or mint inside, a cloth cape or a little doll made in colors for a boy- this is a wonderful chance for him to have a little pal or play Daddy (little boys so infrequently get dolls but they love them). Another wonderful toy would be a felt board with little felt shapes to put up (you could make little animals or people later so he can act out stories).
I have made all of these things, take a look at the pics in my etsy store for inspiration if you are planning on making them for him. Warmly, Rebekka

I am making my boys yoyo clowns. I agree, though, it is hard to find things to make for boys. Especially clothes. They have such cute patterns for girl stuff, but almost nothing for boys. Just plain pants and shirts. |

I have enlarged a simple doll pattern (flat front and back pattern) and made him a boy to wear size 2-3 clothes my son had outgrown. He could wear baby type shoes, etc. He sleeps with it!
