oh my gosh gurlfrenz .. i SWEAR .. Kathy Anthony has the MOST WONDERFUL PRIMITIVE shoppe in all of Kentucky!!!! Her 'hand-dids' are the best i've ever seen ANYWHERE! She is so talented and has fabulous artists who sell through her shoppe too .. and the very BEST early primitive antiques i've seen in a long time anywhere. WELL .. Nettie Jarvis has some fabulous stuff too .. but museum prices .. although, i must admit .. i always manage to find a little sumpthin' or other there to bring home with me! (She's married to the movie/tv producer Jerry Bruckheimer!) Hank and i stopped by her shoppe today and had a 'picnic lunch' right in her shoppe on a wonderful SAWBUCK table from the early 1800's! MAGNIFICENT! I managed to buy some 'stocking stuffers' for ME! (And i think she and Hank wheeled and dealed on my much desired CHIVAREE CLACKER behind my back! i SO hope to find it under the tree on Christmas morning!
I could go on and on and on about Kathy's talents .. but ya'll jus' have to come to Kentucky to see her shoppe in person .. come on down .. i'll take you there! xo

oh gosh .. meant to tell ya'll .. that if you collect roosters and hens .. she has the MOS' WUNNERFUL 'ceramic' painted set! i dont' usually collect stuff like this .. but i swear .. i might have to go back for it for my kitchen!!! (actually, i do have a coupla' salt and pepper sets like these!) IF i don't get it .. and you want it .. e-mail me! xo
