love this little gal/guy now too..but when I took it outside to get the photos..my drake duck came charging up to . Naomi was there with me and quickly scooped it up, but Daffy landed a blow on her hand that was a very hard peck. I'm sure if he'd have gotten to the baby it would have been seriously injured or even killed. I will have to make sure that this little one is much older before we introduce it.

Sunny is now about 3 times the size she was when I got her. Still cute. And oh so very sweet. She has a very sweet personality and loves to cuddle. She has a funny thing that she likes to do and that is..to stretch her neck out on my arm..she stretches her neck way out and lays there. Spoilt little thing! And she loves to give little "duckling nibbles" sort of like how a baby puppy will act like it is "fleaing" you..well Sunny does this with her beak up and down my arm. I guess she thinks I'm momma..ha.
Sunny ...if she can hear us in the room remains calm..if she can't hear or see us..she sets up to peeping loudly until you give her attention.
Little rascal!

So darling! What kind is she?
I am hoping to get some Muscovy's this spring. I life in town but we are on a small lake. In it's former life the lake was the center of a large track at a horse ranch.

they are real sweet little things. so friendly.
"Sunny" has started peeping louder now..and her peeps are starting to turn into little "quacks" from time to time..ha It sounds so funny...hard to describe it.
