oh what fun! rose pressey ... the author who came to greensburg last week and shared her "My Haunted Family" book with us .. e-mailed me and asked if she could base the 'psychic MEDIUM in her next book (a paranormal mystery novel) on ME!!! Ha! i laughed and replied that it would be 'truer' if the character were a PYSCYO!!! and i'd MUCH rather be "SMALLER" frannie .. rather than "medium"!
but anyhoo .. this shall be fun .. and i can hardly wait to see what type of character "Frannie" turns out to be!!! a gypsy? a demented olde maid? a school-marm type that wears laced up sensible black shoes?

OH Frannie how exciting and quiet the honor! I have that on my list to order in the next few days, Now you know I will have to order the one with you in it when that comes out.

t'will surely be a 'hoot' .. and i was very 'touched' when she asked! i sat with her for dinner at Lucy Tucker's when she came to visit .. but that has been our only 'meeting' .. LORDY! did she 'sense' something 'paranormal' about me? I did tell her that i had NEVER truly had an 'experience' .. (well, except meeting colonial ghost "Aunt Barbara" after making fun of her .. but that was in a DREAM .. albeit a very REAL 'feeling' dream!) i would LOVE to meet some ghosties/and or aliens (but ONLY want to meet up with the FRIENDLY kind!) .. am somewhat 'skeptical' .. but am indeed 'open' .. but can't be too easily 'fooled' .. but i'm here to tell ya' .. if some one/thing appeared before me while i was WIDE AWAKE .. i'd sure be telling those tales!
the 'paranormal' phenomena seems to be making a 'comeback' .. as is reflected with tv shows, books and such on the market now. rose, by the way, is connected with both a magazine and an up-coming TV show on the paranormal. (not sure which one though .. cuz' i don't really watch them) .. i'm waiting for my OWN experience! xo
and YES .. i would sleep all night alone .. in a purported 'haunted house'! lordy! if these olde kentucky cabins we call home aren't haunted .. i don't know what would be!!!

nancy jo .. i got up in the middle of the night .. not sleepy .. soooo .. i read ome of rose pressey's 'haunted family' book stories. she tells a lot of them about my very own town of GREENSBURG (her mom and grandmother used to live here!) i'm going to be asking around to lots of 'olde timers' to tell me stories of hauntings in the olde courthouse and our 'bridge'! xo
