Do any of you make up anything special (for dinner) while giving out candy, or have a few folks over? We used to have a large party with kids and subs, and a big pot of chili for the adults, but those "kids" are adults now, so we've pared down.

This year it's Southwestern Pumpkin Soup (in a pumpkin tureen of course!), and a turkey, proscuitto, apple and havarti melt sandwich on ciabbata bread, under the broiler.

Pumpkin Ice cream from our local Graeters for dessert (Cinnamon isn't out yet--BUMMER!!!!!)

We will do our dinner tomorrow. We celebrate here for three days. We have our altar to our ancestors and passed loved ones and tomorrow we have our dumb dinner and then on the second we have a small ritual.

We are having a carry-in lunch today at work.

On my plate here in front of me I have a hot dog, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni/tuna salad, broccoli/cauliflower salad, an awesome grape/walnut/cream cheese/sour cream salad, 2 types of pumpkin dip with cinnamon coated tortilla ghosts, brownies, and various breads, chips, crackers & dips too!

So, no supper for me tonite--just grazing here all day!!

Those are the best days, aren't they, Kathy? I LOVE grazing! Should have been a cow. Wait, I am!

We just did leftovers. Cooking was too tough with taking the baby out trick or treating.
