Pot holder Exchange Anyone? Start sign ups today. I think we should do at least 2 so we have a matching pair, ot not matching. What do you all think?
Should this be before or after christmas on mailing? Everyone who signs up will have a say. It's your ballgame...
Closing Date : November 15th and mail by January 31st.

I don't want to host but I could participate. What about just swapping a set of 2. Send a set in and get just one set back. I have John Deere fabric I got for potholders, etc. Anyone out there want some?
What are your ideas?

I think it should be a One on One and you can exchange with as many as you want. (multi-signups) Of coarse, send a set and get a set back.
We can asign partner after we close. Everyone will have a say, after we closed the sign ups. what does everyone want?

I'd like to participate. Personally, I'd rather have random potholders than a set which match. It would be fun to send in a couple to one person and then receive a couple back. But, I am easy and willing to go with the flow.

I'll go with the flow too! I'd like anything that was handmade by a farmgirl. Are we talking sewn, knitted or crochet or woven, etc. made any way, as long as it is hand made?

I too would like random potholders than a set. But let me know if the what everyone decides. I'm ready to get sewing.

What if we were to send 1-3 potholders to one person, she would sort them and then we get that same number of different ones back? I would be willing to host a swap like that. We could add a couple of dollars for postage to help with the cost.

Let me know if that might work when everyone has their say so. =)

If you want that, ask your partner when assigned. I don't see where that request is unreasonable. I sorta like the idea myself, its more farm style n' country. do I sign ya up?

Angie, In December after Christmas, why don't you start sign ups and see if you can get your idea going. And have the mailing date end of February. This is strictly a suggestion on my part. You should run your exchange anyway you like. I personaly need about a dozen of new potholders. so I would do more than one exchange. I know I have another idea for one but it can wait for down the road.

Ok.

Ladies start sending in your request to be included. I will start formulating a plan and let you know pretty soon what that will be.
