Don't pass up this opportunity to register for the Idaho Department of Agriculture's winter workshop for "Creating a Marketing Plan" for Specialty Food Producers. The one-day session will be held in cooperation with the Bonner County Business Center in Sandpoint, Idaho, on January 29, 2008.

• Learn to analyze your market (define your target customer, and develop your product image).
• Develop your business objectives and draft a strategic statement.
• Navigate the complexities of pricing your product.
• Learn about the distribution system and how to get your products into the right hands.
• Receive a break-even spreadsheet that will walk you through your costs and help you see the profitability of your decisions.
• Learn about selecting and exhibiting at trade shows.
• Draft an action plan to make your goals a reality.

Call Lacey Menasco at (208) 332-8538 for more details.
