I just came back from a lunchtime walk to Border's, and I found the new Hobby Farm Home Fall/Winter issue! I LOVE this magazine. It has an article on candle making, Old fashioned candy making, recipes for herbal beauty products and living with dogs. And tonight, my dh won't be home until late, so I get to go home, relax, and R E A D! Hooray!

Thanks, Janice! I was just thinking that I couldn't wait for the next one--I soooo enjoy it! I'll have to wait until my car gets fixed to see if I have some $$$ leftover for a magazine :) J

I bought that one off the stand at the grocery store a couple of weeks ago. I like it a lot. I bought it specifically for the article on designing your own cookbook.

I cannot always get it at my Borders! They have Hobby Farm, but where they put the home issue, I have no idea! I can never find it. Same thing for Small Farm Journal. I always got it there and they say they have it, but I can not locate it on the shelves whenever I go. Frustrating. |

I also enjoyed reading the new issue of Hobby Farm Home, it's a wonderful magazine! My son, Daniel Johnson, had several photos published in this current issue... I think my favorite one is the top photo on page 67, taken on our farm.

Our Borders doesn't carry it. Any other store I can pick it up at? I had found it at the Farm & Fleet, but that's over an hour's drive for me.
