Did you all see MJ's post over in Hogs & Quisches? she posted pic's of her mini's and holloweenie minis drapped along her truck, to cute!
Mine are done(haha-still bragging) & are sitting on the dining room table waiting to be mailed out,& go figure, as I sit here, I just saw our mail man drive by, awe buggers, now I am going to have to drive into town to the post, oh well, it gives me an excuse to get a Pumpkin Latte over @ Starbucks and then sneak over to Carol Sues & drop off a bag of goodies that I have promised her, but have been to flaky to do, My Bad!

Hey.. did you say you've already found your Western fabric yet?
I was looking on line yesterday.. i think it was cabin crrek quilters or something.. & they had Some of the cutests Western & Cowgirl Fabric!
It wasn't cheap though.. it was like $9.00 a yard or more..
i was REALLY likin' it though!!!!

Yes..it's sort of.. 'farmy ish' here.. leans more towards.. redneck really.. but it's still country.. Just wish some of these people's family trees had a few more branches..!
Largo may not be as much a farm area..but you do have the beach girl!..
& you have some great places to eat.. & close to so many things where your at.. antique shopping.. Some neat things over by you.. You not too far from Dunedin & clearwater & St.Pete.. definatly accessible to some old shops in your area.. It's more hit & miss out by me..
We'll have to plan an outing one of these days!

I got my treadle from this lady that used to have an antique business. She bought it from the original owner about 20 years ago. It is in great shape. I just cleaned it last weekend and am hoping to actually sew on it this weekend. Where... let's see. Off I4 near cracker barrel (exit 10 I think) only about 5 miles from there... can't remember the name of the street. She had a gorgeous place... 5 acres with wild peacocks. My son wanted to move there. She is selling her house and moving to Sarasota.
Yes, we are very central ... that is what I do love about it. Beach is only 10 minutes away. Dunedin is just a bike ride away on the Pinellas trail.... love that too. It would be great to meet one of these days. |

Kathy Khartquilt over in NJ just received my winter quilt blocks so I figured you would receive the mini's by Mon or Tue....ok, so I take back all the little snippets I called the post office.
When I spotted that fabric & it spoke to me,,,,it said "hey lady buy me!" so I did. lol! And I paid full price no less! I didn't even use a coupon or get it on sale! that's how much I liked the fabric.

Hi all...this sounds really neat. Is it too late to join in on the fun? I have never made small aprons or (aprons really) ....but I would love to give it a try and this would be a great start for me...any ideas on how to do a small apron by hand stitching? I currently don't have sewing machine....but, LOTS of thread, needles, embroidery floss and material :) Thanks Bunches!

You would do them the same as if machine sewing, only all by hand, with needles and thread .woo, that would be alot of stitching by hand if you did all of them. there are 14 signed up so far. better get busy :))))
