Sorry everyone. The box came in and I set it in my office until this weekend. I have been working 40 plus at work and doing Christmas shopping and cards. It went out this morning Priority with confirmation so it is on its way. I have been so busy this last two weeks plus we have had the worst weather with ice and snow and it is heading our way again tonight.
Sorry to hold it up. It is a fun idea and really is neat to receive such a variety of things.

I received a confirmation that the box arrived at the next destination.
It is above freezing here today so all our wonderful ice is melting off the trees and streets. Hurrah! We lost power last week with the ice storm
for 2 days and the college I work at cancelled classes as did most of the schools in the area. I have a week break at work after Christmas so that will be nice. Happy Holidays everyone! |

Yes, I picked it up today. Was there on the 14th, but I don't go to the post office every day and haven't been able to get there when it's open until this morning.
Question...was this at one time a flat rate box? No sign of that now and see it cost Marlene $15 to mail it. I know it's supposed to stay in that box, but is quite beat up, so might have to put this box inside another box to mail. Ooops, correction, half of one red circle still visible, but not the flat rate wording on it.
I'll get it back in the mail not later than first of next week. No wonder I was thinking about where it had been stalled, didn't know I was the next one to get it!

It will go on to the next name as soon as I can find it! Serious, I did some major 'shoving' of stuff before my other half got home from
Alaska and don't know where it is in this house. I'll do a major search tomorrow, but I doubt if I'll get it mailed until Monday. Big storm hitting this area and I likely won't be out driving in the snow tomorrow. Sorry Ladies, my fault. Yes, with Christmas and having my old Lab euthanized two days before...and trying to get the blood she dripped all over the house, garage and deck cleaned up, I'm way behind. Poor babe had a tumor that started to bleed and before I could get the neighbors to put her in the truck for the ride to the Emergency Vet, she dripped blood everywhere.
I'll post when it's on the way to the next house.

| No worries Ronna, I was just curious.... It sounds like you had a hectic couple of weeks, to which I'm sure we can all relate. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your dog, and 2 days before Christmas, how awful for your family. My sympathies go out to you. I know how hard it is to lose a family pet, they are family members too... |

Well, anyone who saw the news knows that looking for the funbox was not on my priority list yesterday....we were so very lucky to not be flooded like so much of the town. One street over is a mess, that's how close it came to hitting here. I will go look as soon as I get done online. I had to have put the box inside another box, or it surely would have jumped out at me, with all the decorations on it. It will be on it's way very soon. Not sure if I'll be able to leave her tommorrow, we have flooding at the entrance/exit to this area and no roads the other direction. My husband went to check it out, so I may be able to leave and start back to work tomorrow.
Thanks for the patience, I'll be sure the box is full to the top when it leaves here.

Box was found..it was inside another box as I suspected. All indication of it being a flat rate box was hidden, so I put in inside another flat rate box and it's ready for the post office tomorrow...providing I can get there okay. So, all can see the lovely decorations and yet still be sent flat rate. I had to cut off the top flaps, but they weren't decorated. I am sorry for the delay...after I had wondered where it got lost, not knowing I was next on the list and then I keep it so much longer than my allotment. Do hope the rest of you find something of use and everyone is happy.

DH brought it in last night. What fun to go searching for treasures. I just love getting things in the mail. So, it's pilfered, refurbished, repacked and ready to go in the mail after work today! And...... it's headed EAST!

Don't feel guilty about keeping it. =) I just happen to be taking a pile of stuff to the post office and knew if I didn't take the funbox, it could be weeks before I got around to it again!

I just received the funbox! Thank you Angie for the little "extra" inside. I love it! I am working on refilling it and I hope to have it back out before Friday. It was like Christmas all over again!!
