Hi, does anyone have any ideas on what i can do with about 6 hand knitted sweater my Grandmother knitted me in the 70's. They are not 100% wool. They are the groovy 70's colors, also. Orange, greens, yellow etc... My Gran is passed away, and i can not part with them! I also have put a few pounds on in 30 years! Anyway, i would like to make something other than a pillow cover...i have never made a quilt. Could these be incoported into a quilt? Any ideas would be apprecitated! |

I bought a cute pillow made from the body of a sweater.........it had the buttons right down the center and was in the shape of a rectangle.

I like Katmom's idea. You could get a shadowbox and put 1 of your sweaters in it, then a picture and maybe a story of your grandma making this special gift for you and whatever else you want to add in the shadowbox!! If that doesn't work. Take it apart and make something special, socks, whatever. Hope this helps Mary
