"Our life is frittered away by detail. An honest man has hardly need to count more than his ten fingers, or in extreme cases he may add his ten toes, and lump the rest. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousand; instead of a million count half a dozen, and keep your accounts on your thumb nail." I love her blog-especially the recipes The only problem is that I need to love them a lot less, or move a lot more (that girl loves her butter!)

it's one of my daily reads

I feel bad for saying it, but I liked it more before she "commericalised" herself, it was more personal, and it was more about her life than about her pictures. it kind of coincided with when she launched the cooking blog, and then again with the JC Penny blog stuff, which I guess takes away some of her blogging energy.
