Our pastor asked that on Sunday, and a couple teenagers gave a pretty cute response...

I would get all new rugs and a new floor, finish redoing the last 2 rooms in our house first of all. Take a great vacation and then if there is any left bank it. I know that sounds so selfish, but, for once in my life I would be selfish!!

hmmmmmmm.....I would pay off some doctor bills and re do the floor in the family room..and do some work in the bathroom I think. OR>>>maybe a fence I have been wanting around the front yard..split rail. And I would send tickets to the big kids to come here for Christmas!!

we just came upon 10K and thus far we have purchased a wood splitter, paid off some bills, I paid more towards different areas of my midwifery training, we fixed the exhaust on my car and bought new batteries for the pickup truck, we also bought a loader backhoe. We have quite a bit left too as the loader backhoe was used. I think late 60's model IH. I took a photo...

The wood splitter we were using was Rob's dad's but we just wanted our own, so while we could we went and got one.

We are also re-doing a bit of the kitchen. I'll show you some photos of that as it progresses on another thread.

So basically we use 10K to do things around here and for here.

I'd use it to pay off some of my school loans. It would barely make a dent but sure would help!

I would take the money and move some place new. It would help me get settled and live until I could find another job to support myself and Stephany.

I would give a $1,000 to a charity, and the rest goes to fixing my leaky basement and foundation shift. Yuk.
Maybe I'd pay off some of those little credit card bills, but in looking at my basement, I'm pretty sure it's gonna take all 9k.

Ask me again tomorrow and it will probably be a trip to Maine

I would build me a new chicken coop, finish my guest bedroom and rent a backhoe to clean up the back 20 acres that had been clear cut right before we moved. If there was anything left, it would go in the farm account to help with other expenses. Wow. 10 grand, huh? Boy, would that be nice.

I would use it to pay off the IRS (grumble, grumble) and doctor/hospital bills. Then I would have more to send to my student loans so I can get them paid off BEFORE I retire.

If I didn't have all of that junk to take care of, I would buy dh a backhoe (he wants one so bad) so he can start his own business and not have to commute 80-100 miles every day.

I'd pay off some bills, splurge a little bit, and throw the rest into savings.

I thought you meant 10 "Grand-children", that's the only kind of grands that I really need. Though the other would come in handy.
Grandma to 3 beautiful grandbaby's and loving every second of it!!!!
