Hey farmgirls. Just wanted to tell all southern IN/northern KY farmgirls that if you live in the Cannelton, IN area (on the Ohio River near Tell City), I will be a demonstrator/exhibitor on October 13 at the Cannelton Heritage Festival. I was very excited to be invited! The woman who is selling my dolls in her store released a press release about me and then I got invited to this festival. So if you're in the area, come see me! I'll be at my booth, which will be the one with the wooden "Backwoods Junction" sign.

Congrats, Rachel! That sounds like a lot of fun! We are out and about that weekend, as my mom has that weekend off and we're celebrating my birthday then. Is there a link to the festival that I can check out?

That's great Rachel! My husband and I went to Cannelton last year around this time, but we missed the festival. I'll have to see if we can get down there on the 13th. It's about a 5-6 hour drive from NW Indiana, but I'll see if we can make it. You should have a great time!!

sounds grande gurlfren .. but i'll be re-cupperating from all the MJ fun .. then .. we have two more visitors hot on her heels .. one is an olde VIETNAME marine buddy of hank's .. then two friends from ENGLAND are coming to visit .. THEN .. i high-tail it up to OHIO to celebrate daughter Wednesday's birthday .. then the SIMPLE GOODS show in Ohio (where Mercantile Gatherings gurlfrenz will be 'sigining' (HA!) magazines .. then the day we get back .. honey hunk and i are heading 'south' for a little vacationette with friend SUGARBUCKET and her husband. WHEW!
but i guarantee you .. ef'fen i didn't have all this on my plate .. i'd sure be there!
REMEMBER .. bring some of your dollies for 'show and SELL' .. when you come October 11 to our farmgurl gathering! xo

You sound like you're going to be super-busy, Frannie! I almost had to cancel on coming to Green County (my husband just quit his job and didn't have another job to go to) but I decided that I CANNOT miss out on meeting MaryJane and all the farmgirls!! So I'm comin'! I'll be there! I'll bring some of "my girls" with me! Goodness know I've got some made to get ready for this show!
