I cleaned out a drawer in what I call my upstairs museum, used to be the girl's room when they were home. Anyway it had a lot of scarfs and hankies in, plus other stuff. So I ironed all the hankies and scarfs, and then felt bad because they are never used. Years ago all women had pretty head scarfs and hankies and used them. I took some pictures before I put them back, because while ironing them I was just amazed at how pretty they are.

Yes they are very pretty. Why don't people use pretty hankies anymore? Maybe they do and just I don't. MB

I do! Although, in truth-for use I like the ones NOT so dainty. ;-) My hubby uses bandanna's and even my little girl has hankies she carries in her purse (or back pocket! hehehe)

Oh I use hankies all the time. My daughter does too. Many of the ones I have and use were made by my great grandmother. She crocheted around them and they are very pretty. they hold up well too.

I love to carry a hankie in my purse. Never know when you'll come down with a case of the vapors or need to dab away a tear! You have so many pretty ones. You can have a new one every day Nancy!

I remember picking out a pretty hankie for teachers or other special women at the dime store when I was just a girlie. It was always so hard to choose!

I have a sudden urge to clean out a drawer...better go lay down til it passes!

I'm a one girl revolution.

I have other hankies that are not pictured. The ones I have gotton from the MJ girls are in my special drawer in my room. Most of the ones shown are from Aunts and Grand parents.

I always use cloth hankies. I have quite a few and pick them up when I see them. I love especially to take them to church.
