Decided with all that yarn I got the other day I better make something, so I made a pair of mittens yesterday. I picked one of the yarns I least liked because I haven't made them in so long, but they came out pretty good.
Real fast trip to the thrift, got some old jewelry and a cute little box, and a hen and chick planter.I think I will put an ivy in it.

The mittens turned out really nice, Nancy Jo! They look nice and toasty.

I'm so impressed with you, Nancy Jo. You say so casually, "I made a pair of mittens yesterday." I couldn't make a pair of mittens in a YEAR! LOL And they are so pretty. I like that color.

Very nice Nancy Jo. Did you decide which way to sew up the side? I think I always used the yarn.??? MB
PS I tried to post a comment about your fans but it wouldn't let me. So I was wondering if you had your fans on display all the time or just brought them out on certain occasions? MB (again)

MB,
Funny MB,
Yea I used yarn, they aren't as bunky as some of my past mittens, so maybe my stitching is getting better. But probably not.
Those fans are just for pretty. I do have a couple in the car for the kids baseball games in the summer, gets a little warm out there, no shade. Wonder why you couldn't post. Maybe it was because I was just posting some new pictures, I wonder if that matters when you do that?
