I got it up and running, was serging just fine and then it stopped pulling the fabric in. the feed dogs don't appear to be working at all. It is sewing just not advancing the fabric. any ideas? I am frustrated as this was a bartered for machine- it is older but only used a few times.

Blessings, Debra

I would take off the cover and see if there is any threads caught underneath. Don't use an air blower can as that can blow thread/dust into the mechanisms... I just use a small makeup brush to flick out the stuff.

Unfortunately, what can happen if you are serging too thick of a material is the needle head can get pivoted out of alignment. guess how I know this :P

Otherwise I would think this will have to be a service call at a shop.
