I have been using my Clover yoyo makers in various sizes for this swap. Got a bunch of Christmas fabric the other day, plus I'm making some white bleached muslin ones. I think I may make some kind of garland out of mine.
Yoyos are so much fun, dd just started doing them. When I started them she goes, Mom I am not sure I get yoyos. She did 60 in 2 days, do you think she is addicted girls....LOL Teaching granddaughters to do them, 5 and 7 and Firemama taught her 6 yr old this weekend. I am making them yoyo little bags to carry their ones to be sewn and needles of coarse. So much darn fun. Carol Sue
I got some fabric and cut out all my circle so I could make more while in the car on our trip and I forgot my needle!!!! I always carry needles in my purse but all I have was a big embroidery needle! I have become addicted! I found the greatest fabrics ON SALE at hancocks the other day. I think I got about 20 different fat quarters. I'm going to use about half to make yoyos. I am going to make a garland for my tree. I will probably end up sending in more than 50 for this swap but I'm not gonna promise yet. I've got to make stuff for the christmas swap too and I have a feeling Nov 15 is going to get here really fast!
Oh those ones of cheryls with the the cardinals are sooooo pretty! I have an apron that someone made me last year out of that fabric and I love it! I sure hope I get a few of those!
Sunshine - can I just send the right amount for the postage in cash in the envelope or would it be easier to do this some other way? You may have said in another post, but I've been busy yoyoing!! LOL! Lisa
