O.K. .. what you farmgurlz up to today? i slept until NOON .. (didn't fall asleep until 4 a.m.!) was reading lots of 'autumn' magazines for ideas and inspiration!

got up this morning (errr .. that would be AFTERNOON)! and dragged cornstalks and hay bales from the back of the van .. spread hay here and there .. and filled some windowboxes with straw (or hay?) it's the sharp .. very yellow .. prickly kind! and pumpkins and gourds .. tied cornstalks to the porch posts .. watered the gardens .. now i'm gonna' finish sewing up those little 'apons' that i added 'pockets' to yesterday .. just have to put the waistbands on them!

going to attempt to find my way to the theatre tonight AGAIN to see TUNA TEXAS!

it's VERY hot and sunny here today .. waaaaaaaahhhh! i want crisp cool autumn weather!!! xo

Seems you got a lot done even if you didin't get up until noonish. Know what you mean about waiting for the cooler weather, a day slips in once in awhile, but the next two here are low 80's.

Got up at 8, left for hockey tryouts at 8:20- watched hockey, sewed (slowly) some square yo-yos, drank a wee bit too much coffee, came home, cleaned my van out, did laundry, talked with some dear friends online, bought car parts for both vehicles, ate dinner and now I am going to put new brakes on the truck (somehow hubby thinks I can help with this) and then will relax and read a bit before bed.

Kinda a quiet day.

Well, today Nora got up at 5 am this morning (ugh) so I was up and folded some laundry, went out and saw some friends this morning, and got back about 12:30. Nora and I took a nap after she ate lunch until about 3:30 and then we went to the grocery store.

We got back after about 3 hours of shopping and I couldn't stand to put nice fresh food in a dirty fridge, so I cleaned the fridge before putting things away. Now my kitchen is all clean and I barely have any dishes to do. It is wonderful! :D

Nora is finally asleep and I am just waiting to see if Doug is going to call for a ride home.

Hope you all have a great day!
