YAY Bonne!!!
so what part of my thing did you use? I notice you credit me too, not just Autumn and mom....
Made Fab progress on my Civil war top...took in the 4 inches it needed, and have all the buttons on, and now working on the snaps, next the hooks and eyes(connects to top to the skirt, so if I move wrong I dont flash my midriff..haha), then on to moms skirt, and then her blouse, and next grandmas skirt and hopefully blouse, then grandmas dolls and dishtowels...wish me luck!

Let the countdown begin. Thought that I would share pictures of the trailer in one of its better moments and my booth. I have included pictures of the women making yummy ginger cookies. The profit from the cookie sale benefits handicap children. They roughly make about 70,000 cookies a year. I always have to get my supply. People carry bags and bags of the cookies, especially the chocolate chip cookies. I sometimes will buy the frozen cookie balls to bake at home. Sure makes the house smell nice. The last picture shows what happens when the people don't heed warning about the winds that occur every year. We never had a problem. Bob will go around to everyone and let them know that the booth needs to be secure and weighted down. Crafters help crafters, and we usually are up during the night check on the booths, and will add weight, but sometimes, we run out weights. The vendors feel that their booth is fine. The second from the last picture shows one of the vendor's beautiful carvings inside the barn.

Can't see anything, Sharon.

Naomi, I layered a bit of butter in the biscuits. Those little gems are buttery, and smell so good! Baking at higher altitudes is always somewhat of an "issue", and flops occasionally occur, so I'm doubly thrilled at how nice these turned out.

Thanks Bonnie. We really hate setting up for the show, because the grids are heavy. I can't remember the total weight of all the grids, but it is a lot of weight, so we are protected when the winds blow. The winds usually only blow during the night. I always look forward to the show itself. I am going to try to take more pictures during the show.

glad the recipe worked out for you Bonne. It's a bit of a challenge to write out the recipe when I have made it from "scratch" for so long.
I hope it turned out nice and thick and most of all yummy for you.

I just love those. I guess I had forgotten about those. My grandmother always had a few about when I was a child. I had made one several months ago for my aunt and she pulled out a bunch of vintage ones that used to be my grandmas. I am glad to see people making them.

So I cut out a medium and sewed it up only to find that it is huge!!!! I mean like a tent!!! Now I am in the process of redesigning it to fit a bit better. I did not want to take it all apart because of all the bias tape, so I have just altered the style and gathered it in.....will post a picture when I am satisfied....right now it is a work in progress and I am a bit perturbed!!!!

Great stuff, Sharon! You are so lucky to be able to have outdoor shows this time of year!!

It snowed this morning....no accumulation, but enough to make AM chores a bit of a messy endeavor. Horses don't seem to mind the snow. Goats stay in their little houses and just peek out. Guineas run amuck as they do everyday....come rain, or snow, or monsoon......crazy birds.

Today I am working on Christmas gifts. A little coat and hat for my daughter's little teacup yorkie and a matching scarf for her....found a remnant at JOAnns for under $1.00.....enough to make the whole ensemble.
