Bonnie, Really cute Christmas apron! I have the day off today and I am taking an applique class. It is a patchwork background with big Black Eyed Susan's appliqued on it. We will see how it goes!

Cute Christmas apron Bonnie. I have been working on oven door towels, so the aprons are currently on hold.

Sorry, I've been makin' them but then sellin' them so not always getting to making photos. I sold a farmgirl today that was a special order. Red gingham with black bias tape sewn on with a fancy stitch from my circa 1982 pattern-cam Kenmore :-) with larger pockets with a double stripe of black bias tape and some lace on the tape. Sorry for just the description but it's gone! Also sold one that has been sitting around for a while...

http://nashbabe.blogspot.com/2007/07/why-heck-do-i-make-these-things.html

Also, we had a weird sermon ;-) where our pastor said he liked to make Nestle Toll House Cookies. So we're all bringing the tools/materials he needs to make the cookies to church tomorrow. My contribution of course is an apron. It is denim with green camo pockets and a forest green/camo decorative chest pocket. His wife needs an apron to go with, don't cha think? So I'll give her the blue camo apron with the blue camo bias tape...

Nasbabe, it sounds like you are going to have fun tomorrow. I would love to hear what happens tomorrow. The apron picture that you posted is quite nice. No wonder why you are selling them faster than you can make them.

I think that this time of year is when people think more about aprons. I tend to sell more aprons this time of year from my website. I recently sold a children's cobbler apron (they are new to my website).

Bonnie thanks for posting about the patterns. I didn't really look at the flier, but they also have 2 50% off coupons as well. I have extra because they handed the coupons out at the store. I used to also get coupons through my e-mail, but that hasn't happened in a long time.

well...that is one heck of a washer..thank goodness for modern technology in this case. Your husband really must just turn and laugh a bit with all your fun treasures. sorry about your hives! Time to put up fences for the bees and nails on top! My mom lives in Alaska part of the year and she has to put her food in a "cabin " on stilts with long sharp nails poking out everywhere! Good luck with that!

Cool washer Bev. So sorry to hear about your bees. We have lots of wildlife around here but I've never seen a bear out and about. They do love the honey though. Hope it is something that can be fix,ed those poor bees. all that work.
