Oh yes it is here, for me in OZ. Today I have washed sheets, done a few phone jobs, rang a friend and am now catching up with you farm friends. Have a great day tomorrow.

so far this morning .. i haven't even had my mornin' cuppa' coffee out on the porch! been on this computer .. and takin' pics of the wonderful birthday cards you girls sent to my little sofia .. and the prizes for the drawing (will post them in my GATHERING ROOM (blog) .. soooooo much to do today .. my 'mission' today is to go gather autumn goodies (pumpkins, hay bales, corn stalks, indian corn, etc. etc. etc.) to decorate the cabins with. AND to wrap those goodies that i have to get to the postie .. soooooo .. i best get of 'la machine' for now. what have you gurlz done so farm this morning?

Today will be hectic. The kids are in the Rockford Fair showing thier pigs. I need to get all three of their "good outfits" ready for showing, we need to bath the pigs and baby oil them, clean the pens, make potato salad for a funeral tomorrow (my friends 24 year old son died of cancer . . . so sad!) and I need to try to reclaim our house as much as we can. It is for sale and still in shambles from our flood. Also need to call and harrass the construction company for not showing up for the last week plus. Will we ever have our house back again?!! And it is deadline time for the Real Estate Guide, so between pigs, cleaning and laundry I will need to be handing the production end of that and the countless email submissions we get for it. The kids show their pigs at 4 pm, so I better get "crackin."

well .. you sure sound busy miz brenda .. you could USE a break .. sooo .. do sneak in that box of books and head this-a-way!

well .. i sure did have a fun day today! i wandered to town again .. stopped by the antiques shoppe and shopped out of my OWN booth! .. i had a box in there with a twiggy handle and i didn't realize it said APPLES on the side of it .. oh how perfect for autumn apples! brought it home .. along with a cute little autumn pitcher i had .. that i 'think' matches (or at least coordinates with some autumn mugs i bought the other day!) also brought home a 'cutter quilt' i had for sale that i might be able to use on the these 'apron pocket kits'.. which i MUST get downstairs this evening and start sewing!
then i roamed down the road to friend, cathy's COBBLESTONE FARMS .. AND GOT LOTS AND LOTS OF MUMS AND WINTER ORNAMENTAL CABBAGES AND MILLET PLANTS ... then on to a 'pumpkin' farm where i bought zillions of pumpkins and gourds!
have to go back and get hay bales and corn stalks .. there was no more room in my van!
also met up with some ladies and invited them to meet maryjane. lordy .. i love this state of kentucky!
now .. what did the rest of you girls do today? xo
