We bought Nora a chewie rattle a couple of months ago. It is a clear green leaf with texture on it. The leaf is water filled so we can chill it in the fridge for when she is teething. Embedded in the leaf is a hard plastic caterpillar. Each of the segments of the caterpillar have a clear hard plastic bubble. Inside the bubbles are beads and the back of the bubble is mirrorized. It is a fun toy.

Up until today it has been too big and heavy for Nora to play with! And now, today she is playing with it like it is her favorite toy in the whole wide world!! Oh my gosh!!

I know how you feel, Alee! Sullivan can sit up now and is trying to crawl. He pulls himself around with his arms, which is all his brother pretty much ever did, then went right to walking. Sullivan loves playing with toys. Now if I could just get Tate to quit taking them away!

Heather- How old is Sullivan? Nora is really trying to crawl. She pushes does the push-up part and then kicks with her legs so she moves, but slowly :D All the better for me!!! LOL

Sullivan is 7 1/2 months. He doesn't do much with his legs. Our floor is so slick (we don't have carpet) that he can move quickly with just his arms. He does get up on his hands and knees and rocks sometimes.

Nora has officially moved into the "mover" category. She moves around wonderfully well and she can go from edge of the room to edge of the room to get from a pile of her toys and back to where she can see me or her father! I am just flabbergasted!

Alee~ Stella seems to like anything that isn't a 'toy'. She wants to play with the car keys, the phone, the measuring cups. So...Lucas got her a ball, thinking she might like to play with that. Then he taught her how to throw. Sure, enough, now she throws all of her 'toys'. Too funny.
Heather~ Stella gets frusterated with our hardwood floors too. And she seems to be using her hands and arms more. They sure do make life such an adventure.

Meg-

Oh I know exactly what you mean! Nora has started to "discover" things on the floor that she shouldn't get. She moves across the floor so fast now that she gets into places I didn't think she would get to! The other day she found one of Sky's raw hide chews (gross!) Ugh! I am starting to see why people buy baby fences! LOL
