Do you ever get that feeling?? The feeling of being blessed.. Nothing out of the ordinary happened today.. I just feel blessed. I have a healthy family, my husbands business is doing ok, we are moving into a bigger house in a week.. I just feel blessed..
One of my favorite quotes is from John Travolta "I am too blessed to be stressed!"
Have a great weekend everyone!

As much sadness as I have in my life right now, I too know exactly what you mean. So blessed. Sometimes we just need to say it out loud. Especially after having things that are out of our control seem to take over our day to day existence.

Yes, if I stop to think about it, I truly am blessed. There are so many things that I can be thankful for! Some days we need to think harder than others, but there is no doubt. . . Thanks for the reminder!

I am so glad Jo.. I hope to get to that point. these last few months cooped up in this extra small house has truly played on my nerves.. My TMJ is out of control. 8 people in one small space- not good. So glad to be moving into something where we have some breathing room!

What a great encouragement. Nearly a year ago I posted a thread about "speaking blessings" to our husbands and I think I needed the reminder from you today. Life gets so chaotic that sometimes we don't take the time to slow down, look around us and say, "Hey, now this is nice!!" We are blessed, we just sometimes forget to notice. Thanks for the sweet reminder. You have been a blessing to us!!

Hugs & blesssings,

Brenda

Wow! I found this post while looking at Bertha's comments. (Hey, Bertha!) It is an oldie but goodie! I am just so thankful to have found it. We are blessed, just by the fact that we have found this wonderful website to congregate on. But not just because of that, there are so many reasons that each of us is blessed. And thank you, Debra, for reminding me to keep my blessings in the forefront of my mind. Even a pile of laundry is a blessing. LOL! It signifies that you have clothes to wear and a family to wear them and a washer and dryer to clean them. Oh my gosh! I could go on and on in that vein of thought!

Y'all have a "blessed" day!

That's wonderful, Debra!

I feel so blessed as well. In fact, I was just counting my blessings yesterday. Dh has been on a business trip and came home Friday night. I miss him so much when he's gone and it's sort of a like being honeymooners when he returns. I so know that I couldn't ask for more from life.

Two bright, healthy children, a faithful and wonderful husband...all the Lord's blessings, I truly don't deserve. I'm just so grateful!

Blessings to every one of you fabulous farmgirls!

Debra,

I feel blessed beyond words every single day of my life. I've never been one to dwell on what I don't have or what isn't working, instead I prefer to enjoy it all! Check out my blog and my recent Grape Jelly making experience and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for bringing this topic to light in a day and age when it is not chic to be happy. I for one stand defiantly against that notion.

I too experience this feeling sometimes. It is a good feeling, and a good time to reflect on all our blessings. Thank You for the reminder.

I am soo blessed! I hope others find this thread and it compels them to feel blessed and grateful for what they have.

Every day of my life I am happy to be alive, wake up happy to start a new day, and appreciate my hubby, family, friends and pugs. Its all in the attitude - even when we have been through really horrible loss and bad times you can still appreciate all you have and feel blessed.
