A wonderful Cleansing rain is pouring down outside. The only problem is that it keeps knocking out the power so I can't be on the computer for long.

be careful what you ask for Joann,... We got hit with the rains around 7:30, quit the lightning show too! But we did not lose power, thou it did flicker a couple of times. Thinking about going to the "Pigout" in town tomorrow if it is nice weather.

We didn't get any rain : ( but we got treated to a wonderful light show. We were sitting on the dark after dark because it was just a beautiful night. Off through the trees to the northeast I see bright shots of light like someone is taking pictures with a flashbulb. We walked down to the road to a place where we can see better and probably in Canada they are having a heck of a lightning storm. So sound of thunder just these brillant bursts of light. On the down side we certainly hoped no wildfires were set. JoAnn |

Alee, I'm glad that storm was good to you. By the time it got here, it was scary. First, the dust came so thick it was like night. Then, the wind bent the trees and we could hear things popping all over the place. I scooped up a few delicate things from outside, shut all the windows, and crossed my fingers no trees at our place would wreck anything. It was a monster, but we didn't have any damage or loose power here. It went just west of town. We just got the side part of it. Yikes! And, no rain!
We make a difference. |
