I couldn't put D. Jessup's novel down. I think I finished it in 4 days ... which for me is close to a miracle!
As I fiber artist, I always donate 5% of my sales per year to some type of animal group. This year it is Greyhounds ... next year, my 5% will be going here:

Kary - Diane Jessup is a hero of mine. Did you get her fantastic Bully Breeds magazine while she was publishing it? She used to be an animal control officer. I think she now works with placing pits in law enforcement programs. She just rocks!!!!!

Yes, Jonni, that's it. Dobermans were the other breed that I couldn't think of.
I converted an old sweatshirt for Girl to wear that used to belong to one of my kids when they were little. She loves it. She wiggles and wags her tail and licks my face the whole time I'm trying to get it on her.
My daughter used to play dress up with her years ago. Pants, dresses, tutu's, capes, reindeer antlers that light up, bathing suits, sunglasses, bandannas, you name it, my daughter put it on her. She seemed to enjoy that too. Like I said before, she LOVES attention.

It has only been within the last year that I have truly fallen in love with & become an advocate for pit bulls. When doing research - that is when Jessup's name came up.
