I have been eating all the small tomatoes every time I go out to water but now my Early Girl is ripening and I made a tomato sandwich---well actually I put Avacado in there too all on 7 grain bread and a touch of pepper and of course a dab of mayo. YUM. Come on over I will share. MB
oH YUM!! That looks wonderful..no mayo though...add mustard. That bread looks perfect too. I am eating tomatoes like crazy right now too...and loving it!

Oh how tempting they look; but I am not too optimistic about how much will BE there on the plate by the time we get there....I mean, you've already eaten one section of the sandwich, and we are supposed to believe you will sit there and play nice until we ring the bell? Uh huh..... bon appetit! Nance
Nance, of course I'd wait for you. As my dad used to say "I'm waiting with my left hand". I see you noticed one quarter was gone before the picture was taken. If I waited too long everything would get stale and soggy...well you know. MB

Any sandwiches today??? This vegetarian's favorite thing is a tomato sandwich(I pick each one up in the fruit market and study the redness-LOL-my dh thinks I'm crazy). Yours are definitely a ten on the redness scale! ;)

OH YUMMY!!!! I will be there. After my tomato plants were mauled down, I miss having a "garden" sandwich. I have been buying some local tomatoes but it's not the same... : (
Hope you enjoyed every last finger licking bite of that....
I have been having one of these every day for a week & still never tire of them. Yours looks quite lovely & delicious Mary Beth...makes me want to head on down to the kitchen! Rhonda
