Okay Lisa, I have a gorgeous piece of authentic African Wax Dyed fabric. It is fabulous!! There is about 2+ yards in length, but it is super wide. It is gorgeous. Here is a photo of it.
This is really a gorgeous cut of fabric. It is breathtaking to a fabric-holic. Oh, I think you will love this. Especially since you do the African/Egyptian head dresses and belly dancing attire. I'm so very happy you like it. I thought of you as soon as I saw this piece of fabric!! That sheen i the photos is GOLD!!
I have 2 other 6 yard cuts of African Kente Cloth prints......they are fabulous too. They were made in Cote d Ivory, Africa. They are also phenominal fabrics.
Oh, I did some research into the fabric you are getting and it retails for about $32/yard!!!
LOL....you don't have to send extra! I was just so surprised about the value. I knew it was a wonderful cut the moment I saw it! Mmm....I do love it and can hardly wait to see you in something beautiful from it!! But if you are so inclined to throw in a pair of earrings....I won't object! LOL
auntgeorge !! The fabric came today and is absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!! I am going to make a long tunic and then the pieces left to do a panel for a gypsy skirt. thank you so much for the patterns. I didnt have them and sure can use them. The magent is going to be glued on a tribal belt and maybe some mirror embroidery to compliment it. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
