yesterday was the garlic harvest at MJ's. How's it coming? Has the weather shifted the harvest date?

Hello Garlic Lovers!
Carol's son is here visiting from Hawaii. He brought his sweetheart with him, a young woman who grew up in Siberia! I hired her to help clean and grade our garlic. She will be done today. I think we have it up on the website already as being available. If not, I'll get Gabe on it as soon as he gets in. We have the eating garlic, the MaryJane planting hard-neck garlic, and the Butters planting soft-neck garlic (better for garlic braids). Later on we'll have our smallest for sale as kitchen "green" garlic for growing in pots like windowsill chives. We've already sold quite a bit to our Country Club members and locally, so get your orders in sooner rather than later! Thanks for your support. Everyone here works super hard on all fronts so it's nice to get a pat on the back once in a while... by making you smile--eating garlic always makes ME smile!

I just checked our website. Both eating and planting garlic are for sale under our FOOD PANTRY and also GARDEN/FARM. Or you can call Brenda here at 1-888-750-6004. She won't be in for another hour though. I just realized that the MaryJane garlic is a rare variety from the outback of Russia that I've slowly brought back into the gene pool and this year the woman who cleaned it is from Siberia! Small world.
