I just turned in my resume and cover letter to a 24hr emergency vet clinic in town. I want to work the night and weekend shifts to earn some extra money for a horse hobby I wish to start. I used to work as a veterinary assistant before my daughter was born and I talked it over with DH and he said he would support and help me out with my DD if I get a job. I'm really looking forward to getting back to a part-time job and be around adults again and starting to earn my own money instead of asking for a raise in my home allowance every month. The veterinarian I used to work for sits on the board of directors there so I hope she will put in a good word for me, I talked about it with her and she thinks I will mesh well with the team they have there. So hopefully they will call me soon if they have an opening.
