I recieved this email from skittles today basically thanking me for the imput on that bizarre commercial and letting me know it had been pulled and was being replaced. They even included a link to the new commercial. It is still strange but had me laughing.

I had not seen that advertisement...cannot imagine how someone being paid good money would think this was a great way to sell the product...can't even imagine thinking it up and I'm a very creative thinker ! LOL I am glad they pulled it...certainly made farmers look slovenly and dumb in addition to the grotesque imagery.

That was the most disgusting commercial I have ever seen! I hope the idiot that came up with it got fired. I'm so glad they listened to the farmgirls & public and pulled the thing.
