As soon as the weather gets hot and humid Katies skin gets scaley and very itchy. Her tail is a mess. We've taken her to the Vet several times for this and no matter what they give us it doesn't seem to work. We use E-Quine shampoo and spray which does seem to keep it under control. We bathe her once a week and brush her everyday and apply the spray. I feel so bad for her. Does anyone know of any thing that would help her. Antibiotics have also been tried without success. Vet says it's just an allergy. Any advice would be appreciated. Linda
I know nothing of this stuff but there is something called Dynovite that is advertised on my XM radio. Just what you mentioned is what this stuff is supposed to relieve. I guess you have to buy it online or maybe at Petsmart or similar stores. Hope she gets better, poor baby!
Hi Linda, This happens to my cat every year. Like you I tried a lot of stuff. I give him Primrose oil (break open one of the pills) and put it on his food. Maybe this will work for you.
