I have been trying to start a chapter around where I live too, but I haven't been able to drum up any interest. I will be watching this thread for tips also.

Well ladies there are a few ideas that come to mind. First thing is to post here for any chapters in your area. If not - well you could get together and start one. Just because you aren't in the same area doesn't mean you can't be in a chapter together. Many farmgirls are doing this- see if there is one you can join or start one of your own. With everything online these days it makes it so easy. I have some very good friends from here that live hundreds of miles away yet we talk almost daily and stay on top of what the others are doing.

Have you requested a farmgirl packet with all kinds of goodies sent to you? There are lots of ideas in it.

So anyone in the Maine or Washington area have a chapter that these ladies can join?
