For years I've been wanting to to go the Canton First Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX. Well, dh and I are meeting my sister & brother-in-law there (they live in Tomball, TX) for the August sale!! DH has worked several extra days where he got double pay and has been putting that money back, and this will be our "vacation" this year. I probably won't buy a thing (okay, maybe a few small items :) ), but it will be wonderful to spend time with my sister and for dh to get away from working on the house for a few days. We're sharing a motel room, but who cares -- we won't be in the room much anyway.
For ladies in that area, we're staying in Athens instead of Canton. Any tips of non-chain, hometown diners or restaurants that we really ought to eat at? tia
